Prohibition
of the tethering of animals and milking of cattle.
227.
(1)
No person
shall tether any animal or cause or permit the same to be tethered in any public
street or public place.
(2)
No person
shall milk or cause or permit to be milked any cow or buffalo in any street or
public place.
(3)
Any animal
tethered or any cow or buffalo found being milked as aforesaid in any street may
be removed by the Chairperson or any municipal officer or employee and be impounded
and dealt with under the provisions of the Cattle-trespass Act, 1871 (1 of 1871).
