skills & productivity of staff.
6.1.7 Warm Led Street Lights
6.1.7.1 NDMC initiated action to replace all conventional HPSV Street Light
poles with energy efficient individual control intelligent LED Street light in
two phases.
6.1.7.2 Supply order for purchase of 5989 nos. individual control warm LED
street light fittings has been placed under phase-I, out of which 3400 nos. of
individual control warm LED light fittings have been received. The rest of the
fittings are being received and the work is likely to be completed by 31 st
January, 2019.
6.1.7.3 Tender for purchase of 8883 nos. individual control warm LED street
light fittings has been invited under phase-II, wherein financial bids of firms
were opened on 26.12.2018. The work is likely to be awarded by March 2019,
and the work will be completed in the year 2019-20.
6.1.7.4 Besides above, intelligent control energy efficient LED flood light
have been fixed on all high mast poles. M/s RITES inspected and approved
the CCMS panels, and the installation work of CCMS is likely to be

completed by 15 February, 2019.
6.1.7.5 The Department has already taken initiative for National LED
program launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to convert the existing
lightings/equipments with LED based lightings and energy efficient
equipments. Accordingly, 40000 nos. conventional fluorescent tube lights /
CFL lamps with LED tube lights / bulbs in office/commercial buildings,
schools & hospital/dispensaries & about 2170 nos. HPSV & CFL fittings with
energy efficient LED street lights/Garden Post Top Light in service road/
parks. Further, 5500 nos. LED tube lights have also been replacement in left
out buildings. Besides above, initiative has been also taken for the left out non
standard CFL fittings replacement with LED fittings installed in the
office/commercial buildings & Barat Ghar etc.
