habits among students at a tender age. In the session 2019-2020, it is proposed
to set up joyful libraries in remaining primary wings of 28 Secondary and
Senior secondary schools.

5.1.7.3.5 Swimming Pools
Swimming is highly good for physical and mental health. As children grow
and develop, the positive mental effects of swimming begin to align, It
Enhances mental development, Develops confidence, Boosts social skills and
improve socialization and Supports a stress-free lifestyle. Through Swimming
Muscles get good workout and cardiovascular system is also strengthened.
Swimming also helps in building Physical Strength and endurance. It
Increases height, Energy Levels and Improves flexibility.In the current
scenario there is requirement of better facilities in this regard, therefore,
proposing to construct one more swimming pool in our schools.

5.1.7.3.6 Emergency Button
NDMC is concerned about the safety of the students in its schools and have
adopted a zero tolerance policy for safety of the school campus. An elaborate
instruction on the lines of CBSE guidelines to ensure safety of the students in
NDMC schools have been issued and is constantly being monitored by the
schools on monthly basis to ensure 100% security of our children in campus.
In order to further augment the security of the campus, I propose to install the
Emergency Button in all NDMC schools along with CCTV cameras in open
areas in the year 2019-20.

5.1.7.3.7 Up-gradation of Crèches and Play Schools
NDMC had 16 crèches and 12 play schools. NDMC decided to upgrade them
to State-of the-Art these crèches and play schools, out of 12 play schools 6
have been converted into State-of-the-Art 'NDMC Play way Schools' and 11
crèches have been upgraded to the State-of the-Art crèches. It is proposed that
the remaining 5 crèches will be upgraded to the State-of-the-Art crèches and 6
remaining balwaries into State-of-the-Art 'NDMC Playway Schools' during
the year 2019-20.

5.1.7.4 For imparting Life Skills to Students, I propose the following:
