opportunity to earn their livelihood on the basis of the skills learned at
Aanchal Special School. In order to engage such students and also to provide
some livelihood, I propose to set up a small manufacturing centre at Aanchal
for CWSN who are discontinued from the school on attaining 25 years of age.

5.1.7.7 The following sports initiatives are proposed for the year 2019-20:

5.1.7.7.1 Inter School League- April/ May- Female Football
The Under10 girls football academy at 03 locations are running successfully
and 90 girls of age group 10-14 years taking training in these academy are
quite enthusiastic. However there is a need to provide a platform to these
young players to showcase their talent so that they can take the game as a
profession in their life. Some states in other parts of India have opened Girls
Football Academy. In order to promote these young girl football players to
take the game as a profession in their career, I propose to start a NDMC
Soccer League in 2019-20 inviting all school girls of age group 10-14 years
involving some sponsors from private school sectors.

5.1.7.7.2 Football Academy for under 10 Boys in 2019-20
Last year we started 'Under 10 Girls Football Academy' at 03 NDMC /
Navyug schools to promote football among girls and inculcate sports culture
among the students. I am pleased to inform that the academy is running
successfully. There is a demand that a similar football academy for under 10
boys should be opened. I therefore propose to open 03 10-14 years boys
football academy at 03 locations in NDMC/ Navyug schools at NP Boys Sr.
Sec. School, Mandir Marg, NP Co-Ed Sr. Sec. School, Lodhi Road and
Navyug School Sarojini Nagar in 2019-20. Under the programme boys of 10-
14 years of age will be selected for training by the coaches hired from Delhi
Soccer Association. The boys will be provided all kits and nutritious diet
during the training days.

5.1.7.7.3 Annual Sports Meet for specially need students
To provide an opportunity to the Children with special need studying at
Aanchal special school to showcase their talent, I propose to introduce the
celebration of Annual Day Programme on every year from 2019 onwards
inviting such children from the NCT of Delhi. Students of other schools in
Delhi will be associated as a part of collaborative approach.
