3.9.3 To achieve the goal, as first of its kind NDMC has invited tender for
Public e-Scooter Sharing System in NDMC area under PPP mode and bids
are likely to be received in January, 2019. Under this project, 1000 e-
Scooters spread over 100 stations are proposed in the NDMC area. The
concessionaire will charge users on the basis of usage of services per
minute basis. The work is likely to be completed in the year 2019-20.

3.10 Smart Underground Bins Phase-II
The underground bins were proposed to be installed to improve hygienic
condition and effective management of waste. Sensors installed at 20 locations
in these Smart Underground Bins are providing real time data of present level
of filling of these bins to the Command Centre. It also sends alerts on the
mobile phone of the concerned persons managing these bins. After successful
completion of 20 nos. of Underground Waste Collection System,I am
proposing to expand the underground bins in NDMC area and to install such
underground bins at 100 locations in NDMC area during the year 2019-20.

3.11 Digital Public Art Gallery
Digitization is a widespread phenomenon in all parts of daily life, as well as
among all sectors of economy. Digitalization seems to be slower in the art
market for visual art compared to the other sectors of the creative industries.
Digital art gallery easily adopt and assimilate widespread changes in various
art fields such as, video art, photographic skill, installation, graphics, and
paintings. It will develop new thoughts that stimulate new idea within the
society. This new media art will become integrated into NDMC firmly and its
influence would be seen everywhere. A platform would be created for
showcasing arts of various forms digitally. This will give a clear picture of
values of digital media, and enable people to explore their own creative
potentials by using the computer as a novel artistic tool and effective medium
of communication in their hands. Therefore, I am proposing to set up at least
one digital Public Art Gallery in the year 2019-20.

3.12 Panic Button and Public Addressing System
It is proposed that to install 625 Panic Buttons and 625 Public Addressing
Systems on the Smart Poles to be installed under the Smart Poles Project
Phase II project. This will help the public to contact in emergency to the
Command Centre. It also helps in providing information and addressing to the
public in any critical situation. The work is likely to be completed in the year
2019-20.
