(ii) provide real time data feeds which can be leveraged for a real time
decisions and actions to strategize Demand Side management, Energy
/ Power Demand Forecasting.
(iii) the data analytics can be leveraged for better peak load management
and tariff structure planning.
(iv) enhance consumer satisfaction level with better complaint
management, faster restoration of outages and awareness for
optimized consumption pattern.
(v) improve system stability, reliability and transparency.
(vi) optimize O&M expenses.
6.1.4 For improving power distribution infrastructure in NDMC area,
following works have been completed in the year 2018-19:
(i) NDMC received a grant of Rs. 32 crore from PFC under IPDS against
the approved grant of Rs.119 crore.
(ii) Energy Efficiency Services Ltd. (EESL) provided 51000 single and
three phase smart energy meters replacing the old static meters.
Implementation of “Advance Metering Infrastructure” (AMI), which
would help in improving NDMC’s revenue.
(iii) Two 33/11 KV electric sub stations have been established in “East
Kidwai Nagar” housing complex and made operational.
(iv) For release of additional electric load to Safdarjung Hospital, a new
33/11 KV power transformers and 33 KV GIS sub-stations has been
commissioned.
(v) Two 11 KV electric sub-stations for “National War Memorial”, at
India Gate established.
(vi) An electric sub-stations for “Delhi Police Memorial”, in Chanakyapuri
established and commissioned.
(vii) Augmentation of HT/LT panels distributions transformers in various
11 KV sub-stations at AIIMS, New Delhi completed.
(viii) New electric connection and sub-station provided for Western Court
Hostel at Janpath New Delhi.
