5.4.4.16.2 The approach was novel as the interns were provided intensive
training by NGOs and NDMC officials on methodology and approach to be
adopted for sensitizing the public, before the commencement of the drive.
They were trained by the choreographers on how to put across strong message
via street play. The interns presented effective ‘NukkadNataks’ at public
places such as India Gate, Lodhi Garden, Nehru Park, ValmikiBasti and slum
areas.
5.4.5 In the year 2019-20, I have allocated a sum of Rs. 145.67 crore to the
Medical Services and Public Health sector. Of this amount, Rs.15.75 crore
would be spent towards capital expenditure and Rs.129.92 crore towards
revenue expenditure.
