        5.1.7.2.1 NDMC Teacher Resource Centre

Teacher performance is the most crucial input in the field of education. There
is need for a substantial improvement in the conditions of work and the
        quality of teachers' education.

The training programme is executed for the professional growth of teachers,
and function as an agent for change in school-related practices. The in-service
training helps teachers gain confidence by engaging with their practices and
reaffirming their experiences. It provides opportunities to engage with other
teachers professionally and to update knowledge. Therefore, there is need to
strengthen the in-service teacher training programme by setting up the
Resource Centre, which will have all modern infrastructures including
conference hall, dedicated library and all infrastructures for training of digital
education along with subject enrichment training. There will be a special
provision, involving minimum of Lecture method, to impart training/ Capacity
Building for activity-based teaching, class room management of large classes,
multi grade teaching, team teaching, and cooperative and collaborative
        learning.

I propose need based workshops on the subjects being taught in the schools,
workshops on evaluation of notebooks and examination answer-scripts,
capacity building of HOS in school management, academic supervision and
        guidance on regular basis.

5.1.7.2.2 Teacher Intensive Examination Centre for Excellence at NDMC
        School at Tughlak Crescent
Examination is an integral part of the system. NDMC is not having a
centralized examination centre. In NDMC and Navyug schools, separate
examination bodies are there. A centralized system will bring uniformity,
timely implementation of the guidelines of CBSE and Delhi Government and
quality in education. I propose a centralized system of examination which will
be setup in NDMC School at Tughlak Crescent.

        5.1.7.2.3 Fellowship for Trainee Teachers
Around 200 trainee teachers undergoing various courses like B.Ed., JBT, ETE,
NTT, B. El. Ed. in Delhi University Colleges and DIET, come for class room
teaching training/practice every year in our Schools. Their association with
our Schools helps in improving the academic environment being young and
