This project is an unique project in any government set up. Keeping in view
the benefit of the project on enhancing the quality of education, it is proposed
that the project will be extended to cover the students of classes IX and X and
teachers teaching these classes in 2019-2020.

Quality Assessment of our Schools by QCI has shown that the performance of
teachers and students are improving gradually. In 2017-2018, it was observed
that there is an increment in percentage of students falling in categories B and
C and decrease in percentage of students in Category D indicating
effectiveness of interventions and its impact on teaching learning process.
There is remarkable decrease in parentage of teachers falling in Category C
i.e. 3% as compare to 33% in pre-intervention phase. Appreciable increment
in Categories A and B in post evaluation phase.

        5.1.7.2.6 Exchange Programme

Since 2017-18, NDMC started an exchange programme both at National &
International level to give our students and teachers an opportunity to see the
best practices and models to widen their perspective.

As a part of this NDMC initiative, an Educational team of ten members which
included teachers and students from Navyug and NDMC (New Delhi
Municipal Council) schools attended training at Leuven, Belgium in June
2017 under Education Exchange Programme between two countries. The
objective of the tour was to get training about Education System of Belgium,
