energetic having knowledge of modern teaching practices and pedagogy. To
attract young and talented trainee teachers, the department introduces
fellowship scheme to 10 best trainee teachers as a recognition of their
contribution to improve the quality of education in our schools from the year
2018-19. Under the scheme, they are given the certificate of excellence and
cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- to each 10 selected best trainees. I propose
continuation of the same fellowship scheme to 10 best trainee teachers as
recognition of their contribution to improve the quality of education in our
        schools for the year 2019-20.

5.1.7.2.4 Twin School Arrangements with Public Schools in New Delhi.
With the quality initiatives and structural reforms, the NDMC schools now are
at right track to perform better and develop the school as Centre of Excellence.
As a part of our initiative to take the NDMC schools at a great height, it has
been felt that collaborative approach with some of the best public schools
located in New Delhi will help in learning best practices prevalent in those
schools to be adopted in our system for further improving the quality and
standards of our schools. I therefore, propose to have collaborative programme
of NDMC schools initially with leading public schools in NDMC area such as
Sardar Patel Vidyalaya; Modern Public School, Barakhamba Road and
Sanskriti School etc. Under the programme, selected teachers will be sent to
these schools to learn their best practices and implement the same in our
        schools.
