5.4.4.8 Organic Waste Converter
I propose to install 4 organic waste convertor of 1.00 MT capacity. This will
help in processing segregated organic waste and the compost so yielded from
that plant shall be utilized by the horticulture department.

5.4.4.9 Plastic Waste Management Plan
It is proposed to install a plastic waste management plant in the vicinity of
compost plant at Okhla. This will take care of all the plastic waste generated in
NDMC.

5.4.4.10 Healthcheck up of safai-sevaks
In the years 2015 and 2016, 1274 and 1040 safaisevaks respectively over the
age of 40 years were examined medically, which helped in taking preventive
health care measures. In the year 2017, health check up of all safaisevaks
above 40 years was undertaken by NDMC for diabetes, hypertension, thyroid,
cardiac, lung pathology, kidney pathology and liver pathology. In addition,
routine eye check up and physical examination have been done for 373
safaisevaks. Considering the benefits of such medical check-ups in decreasing
the incidents of morbidity and mortality of safaisevaks due to timely medical
intervention, annual health check-ups of all safaisevaks present (2017 Nos.)
have been undertaken by NDMC in the year 2018. I propose to continue such
annual health check up of safaisevaks for timely medical intervention.

5.4.4.11 Roll Call Centres
NDMC has constructed 48 Roll Call Centers including 15 centres in 2018-19
for safaisevaks with gender specific toilet facilities along with water dispenser.
Three more Roll Call Centres will be constructed in 2019-20 as required by
the Public Health Department. Total 48 Roll Call Centres have been
constructed including 15 Roll Call Centres in 2018-19, as per requirement of
the employees of NDMC.

5.4.4.12 Empowerment of SafaiSevaks with introduction of Modern
Equipments
It is proposed to provide battery operated e-bike / e-tricycle well equipped
with modern swachhta tools so that the field staff providing such activities can
attend and perform their duties in an efficient and modern manner.

5.4.4.13 Scientific collection and disposal of Construction and
Demolition Waste (C&D Waste)
