  • Where to pay electricity / water bill and how to pay the electricity / Water bill?


    (i) Bills can be paid at any Suvidha Kendra which are situated at:

    1. a) Shaheed Bhagat Singh Place Gole Market.

    2. b) Community Center Babar Road.

    3. c) Palika Bhawan., R.K.Puram.

    4. d) Electric Sub-Station, Kidwai Nagar (West).

    5. e) NDMC Civil Enquiry Moti Bagh (West).


    (ii) Water and electricity bills can be paid in cash upto Rs. 500/- only. Payment more than Rs. 500/- can be made through cheque/pay-order in favour of Secretary, NDMC.


    (iii) Bills can also be paid online through NEFT/RTGS by visiting our website, www.ndmc.gov.in. A discount of 0.2% on the total bill amount will be available.

  • What is the procedure for delivery of bills?

    Hard copy of Bills are regularly sent to the premises of consumers well in time. The bill may also be downloaded from NDMC website by login at www.ndmc.gov.in. Further, consumers can avail the option of e-billing by registering themselves at the above website, and avail a discount of Rs.20/- per bill.  

  • How much sewerage disposal levied in water bill?


    Sewerage Charges are levied @ 60% of the volumetric water consumption.

  • Whom to contact for testing/replacement of electricity meter?


    Following Officers may be contacted:-



    a) AE (Meter) at Room No. 102, SBS Place, Gole Market, New Delhi-110001 for the load upto 30 KW.


    b) AE (EMW) at Electric Meter Workshop, E/S/S No.3, HCM Lane, Janpath, New Delhi-110001 for the load above 30 KW, office.

  • What is the security amount required to be deposited before releasing of connection?


    Security amount @ Rs. 600/- per KW for domestic consumer and @ Rs. 1500/- per KW for non-domestic consumer.

  • What is the procedure for reconnections of electricity meter, if it is disconnected due to non-payment of bills?


    After depositing the outstanding amount, the consumer is required to apply for re-connection to A.O. (Billing) who may be contacted at Room No. 87, 1st Floor, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Place, Gole Market, New Delhi-110011.

  • What is the procedure for transfer of ownership of electric connections?


    Consumer is required to apply to the following officers alongwith the documents as prescribed in DERC Regulations 2007, :

    1. (i) AE (Meter) at Room No. 102, SBS Place, Gole Market, New Delhi-110001 for the sanctioned load upto 30 KW.

    2. (ii) AE (EMW) at Electric Meter Workshop, E/S/S No.3, HCM Lane, Janpath, New Delhi-110001 for the sanctioned load above 30 KW.

  • How to get load enhanced / reduction in sanctioned load?

    Enhanced / reduction in sanctioned load is dealt by the following officers:

    1. a) Executive Engineer (D/N) pertaining to North of Rajpath area, at Room No. 1804, 18th Floor, Palika Kendra, Sansad Marg, New Delhi-110001.

    2. b) Executive Engineer (D/S) pertaining to South of Rajpath area, at 1st Floor, E/S/S Kidwai Nagar (West), New Delhi may be contacted.

    However sanctioned load can be enhanced/reduced based upon the MDI of previous year as per DERC Regulations 2007.

  • How to remove the misuse charges levied?

    After the removal of cause of misuse, the consumer has to inform the office of Executive Engineer (Comml.) situated at Room No. 103, 1st Floor, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Place, Gole Market, New Delhi-110001.

  • What is the procedure for installing Net Meter for connecting the solar power system with NDMC grid?

    (i) In the first instance, technical feasibility is obtained from the office of Chief Engineer (E-II), Room No. 1706, 17th Floor, Palika Kendra, Sansad Marg New Delhi-110001.

    (ii) Thereafter, following officers may be contacted :

    1. a) AE (Meter) at Room No. 102, SBS Place, Gole Market, New Delhi-110001 for the sanctioned load upto 30 KW.

    2. b) AE (EMW) at Electric Meter Workshop, E/S/S No.3, HCM Lane, Janpath, New Delhi-110001 for the sanctioned load above 30 KW.

  • How to get Electric & Water connection on allotment of Government Accommodation?

    Consumer is required to submit a prescribed connection/disconnection form alongwith the allotment letter at Suvidha Kendra, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Place, Gole Market. The form is available there and can also be downloaded form the website, www.ndmc.gov.in
