3. Initiation of Mechanization in the horticulture activities, strengthening of nurseries
4. Qualitative improvement in roundabouts, horticulture improvement of Roadberms
5. Forest Research Institute, engaged as consultant for guidance in tree conservation and management, training on treatment of diseased trees and raising of quality planting materials

Road ahead 

1. Converting brown deserted public spaces to green and then to coloured spaces best suited to physiological & climatic conditions of Delhi
2. Enlisting public participation in maintenance of greens
3. Assured availability of quality planting materials by strengthening and modernizing nurseries
4. Appropriate Mechanization and training for improving efficiency of staffs and quality of greens.
5. Survey and mapping of all green spaces
