The following are the achievements of the Accounts Department in Financial Year 2015-16 :-
- Disbursement of Salary/Pension and other payments/claims of Employees & Ex-Employees through NEFT.
- Payment to Vendor/RMR/TMR Workers through NEFT/RTGS.
- Online collection of various NDMC’s dues through Card/Net Banking.
- Implementation of CCPAP Facility to avoid fraudulent presentation of cheque in NDMC’s Main Bank Account in SBI.
- SMS Gateway :- Pay Roll & e-Financial Application have been integrated with SMS Gateway. An SMS is sent to all the Employees, Ex-Employees, Vendors, RMR/TMR Workers through the system on the release of any payment.
- EPF Module has been developed :-
- to prepare the M/Roll sheet and calculation of wages on the basis of present days of M/Roll workers, Calculation of Employees Contribution of EPF and NDMC’s Contribution of EPF, EPS, EDLI and other Admin Charges on the basis of Employees wages.
- to prepare the bill of Remittance of these Statutory Deductions in r/o each Division to EPFO.
- A module for monitoring advances lying Unadjusted in the system has been implemented.
- An Internal cheque Module has been developed to monitor different claim received in the Accounts Branch.
- Department is involved in the requirement gathering and finalizing the SRS for the changes to be made in the Accounting Procedure and e-Financial Application in r/o Implementation of the Recommendations of M/s. SBICAP regarding the creation of a separate Unit EDSBU within NDMC.
- Payment of leave encashment on retirement to the retiring employees is being proposed to sent directly to ht bank and a certificate to this effect is being issued.
- Form 16 both in Part ‘A’ & ‘B’continued to be uploaded on NDMC website in digital form which was earlier being issued to the employees manually.
- The salary and TDS of contractual employees are being released.
- Module for preparation of LPC (Last Pay Certificate) to the officers on deputation in NDMC has been developed.
- Module for preparation of Due & Drawn Statement on account of arrear of pay has been developed and implemented.
