Inception of AYUSH Dispensaries in NDMC

• The first Ayurvedic Dispensary was established under NDMC in year 1930 at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg.
• The first Homoeopathic Dispensary established in the year 1970.
• The first Unani Dispensary established in the year 2016.
• The first Siddha Dispensary established in the year 2016.
• The first Yoga & Naturopathy Centre established in the year 2016.
• The first Panchakarma Centre established in the year 2016.
• Before the establishment of the newly formed AYUSH Directorate in February 2019 all AYUSH Dispensaries worked under Medical Services Department.
