AYUSH DEPARTMENT ensures health care facilities to its employees and citizens working/residing in its jurisdiction through AYUSH Health modalities viz, Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy.
The dispensary units cater to all citizens. After a initial e-registration, They may consult their respective Physicians and obtain the prescribed medicines for their specific disease condition. The system also provides specific dietary consultation. The Department of AYUSH in NDMC is endowed with specialties of Panchakarma treatment, Naturopathic therapies, Unani regimental therapy that provide bio-purification in suitable conditions.
The AYUSH Dispensaries offer consultation and dispensing of medicines free of cost to all, irrespective of whether they are amongst general public or NDMC employees. The department renders its health care services to the citizens through its dispensary setups, Panchakarma Centers, Holistic treatment centers and the central AYUSH Medical Store.
