Main Achievements during 2013-14
(a) Improvement to Palika Awas Housing Complex, Sarojini Nagar with grit wash plaster using marble chips of different colours.
(b) Improvement of 256 NDMC staff quarters, Sector-XI, Rohini by a provision of P/F vitrified and ceramic floor in floors P/F flush door shutters in bathroom and W.C. filling of joints of brick tiles of roof.
(c) Improvement to Palika Vas, R.K. Ashram Marg by up-gradation of quarters by providing & fixing flush door shutters and water proofing treatment of roof.
(d) Improvement to Palika Gram, Sarojini Nagar by provision of improvement to toilet, kitchen, flooring and other connected items in flats.
(e) Improvement to Palika Niketan, R.K. Ashram Marg by provision of floor tiles, Kota Stone flooring and cupboard shutters.
(f) Renovation of 8 nos. of Type-V, Duplex Flats, Yashwant Place by provision of vitrified tiles in floor, stone flooring in kitchen, granite stone in kitchen counter slab, pre-laminated flush door shutter.
1. Improvement to Palika Nikunj Housing Complex, HCM Lane by provision of replacement of wooden windows with aluminium windows and vitrified tiles etc.
Construction of one no. Type-V Flat at Golf Link Sadan, Golf Link, New Delhi - Completed.
Phase-I : 88 Nos. of flats already handed over and under occupation of NDMC employees. After completion of 88 nos. quarters in Phase-I last year, Phase-II having 92 nos. quarters have been completed and is being handed over to employees. Work on balance 116 quarters is under progress.
2. Improvement and up-gradation of various Commercial/ Office Complexes
(a) Improvement of Record Room at Basement of Palika Kendra by provision of renovation of civil and electric works.

SH: Construction of additional block in Palika Maternity Hospital and addition/alteration of the existing building at Lodhi Colony.

(a) Renovation of NDMC Markets with provision of ATM facilities

(iv) Babar Market, Lodhi Colony.
6. Installation of ATM Machines completed at following markets:
(v) Central Market, East Kidwai Nagar.
(vi) Palika Bazar.
(vii) Kaka Nagar.

7. Preservation / Restoration of heritage building in NDMC area
Extended Project of N.P. Boys Sr. Sec. School, Mandir Marg including electric work by provision of Prevention, Restoration and Retro-fitting work of Heritage Building.
Main Achievements during 2014-15
1. Functioning of fountains at Talkatora Garden
Fountains of Talkatora Garden were shutdown since last 15 year. Now, the same has been made functional and general public is appreciating and enjoying the same. Cost is Rs. 9.00 Lacs.
2. Renovation of youth centre and construction of underground water tank at Navyug Primary School, Pandara Park
The condition of youth centre was in very deteriorating condition and the users were demanding for renovation the same. Accordingly, the entire youth centre, Pandara Park has been renovated with latest specifications and now functioning very well. Further, as there was shortage of water in school, therefore, RCC underground water tank has also be constructed. The cost of work is Rs. 11.00 Lacs.
3. Water proofing treatment on the terrace of Navyug Primary School, Pandara Park
There was leakage from the terrace of Navyug Pry. School, Pandara Park, therefore, water proofing treatment has been made at the terrace. Work has been completed. The cost of work is Rs. 15.00 Lacs.
4. Up-gradation of Palika Sadan and Palika Nikunj Housing Complex
There was need of work of Aluminum window, wall flooring at rooms, toilets at Type-V flats. The work has been completed. The cost of work is Rs. 38.00 Lacs.
5. Renovation of Kitchen and mess area alongwith toilet at Indira Niketan Hostel, Laxmi Bai Nagar
Wall and floor tiles of the kitchen were broken and granite of counter slab of kitchen was also damaged. Besides this, some miscellaneous necessary works in the toilet and mess area were also required. Therefore, kitchen and mess area alongwith toilet of Indira Niketan Hostel has been renovated. The cost of work is Rs. 16.00 Lacs.
6. Up-gradation of Community Centre, Babar Road
Internal Renovation works as well as façade improvement works have been carried out at Community Centre of Babar Road as per the latest specifications to give the community centre modern look. Now the Community Centre is functional. The cost is Rs. 1.55 crore.
7. Improvement to 20-21 Block, Peshwa Raod, Gole Market
The whole housing complex has been upgraded by providing stone grit wash plaster on exterior surface of complex, vitrified flooring tiles in rooms and lobby area, wall and flooring tiles in bathroom, WC and kitchen and water proofing on terrace, etc. The cost of work is Rs. 71.00 lacs approx.
8. Improvement/ Renovation of Dhobi Ghat
SH: Improvement to Dhobi Ghat No. 5 at Pandit Pant Marg/ Dr. Bishamber Dass Marg
The case was prepared for providing shades over existing water tubs, press tharas and press rooms, construction of new water tubs, construction of new toilets and laying kota stone flooring in press tharas and press room. The same has been completed successfully and the cost of work is Rs. 39.00 lacs.
9. Upgradation of Duplex Flats at Yashwant Place Office Complex have been completed
Work completed on 07.05.14 and flats have occupied by Sr. Officers and member, NDMC. Cost of work is Rs. 6568204/-
